Servicing
We also have our own in house service department.
We service and repair all of the products that we sell and/or have sold (subject to the availability of spare parts) since the commencement of the company in 1974.
We also selectively service products that we have not sold. Please call us on 0191 4774167 or email us at info@lintone.co.uk.
Our service charges are £30.00 per hour or part thereof, with a minimum charge of £30.00 plus VAT.
A collection fee is £40.00 plus VAT and the re-delivery fee is also £40.00 plus VAT.
An estimate fee is £30.00 plus VAT and will be charged at the outset. This estimate fee will be deducted from the final repair bill should the estimate for repair be accepted. A written estimate will be sent out detailing all work to be done for acceptance or rejection.
Should the repair not be viable or spares unavailable, the estimate fee will be transferred as a credit onto a similar product that is purchased and is valid for a period of thirty days. Should no action be taken the £36.00 paid will be forfeit.
If products are not collected (or redelivery arranged) after a period of 30 days, we will issue a seven day warning letter, setting out that if products are not collected (or redelivery arranged) within this period of time we reserve the right to dispose of the goods in the most efficient manner.

Should there be no response from the service department the call will default to voice mail. Please leave a short message to include your name and contact number and we will get back to you at the first available opportunity.
Should goods require to be returned under warranty which has been purchased at distance, please call our sales department on 0191 4774167 (Option 1).
The opening hours of our service department are Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Repairs can be booked in or out during normal sales hours which are Monday to Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. |
