B&W FPM4 Loudspeaker

The FPM4 uses the same Kevlar® cone bass/midrange drivers and Nautilus tube-loaded tweeter as the FPM5, but in a shorter enclosure that matches the height of 42-inch plasma screens, yet concedes little in bass extension. Like the FPM5 it's a 2˝-way configuration that allows wider dispersion of sound in the midrange; essential when used horizontally as a centre speaker. With complete timbre matching between the systems in the range, feel free to use a longer model at centre to harmonise with the longer dimension of the screen.

Bass is augmented by Flowport, and is remarkable for such a small enclosure. Kevlar® ensures the midrange is clear and detailed, right where the ear is at its most discerning, and the tweeter extends way beyond the limits of human hearing to make the most of high definition formats.
